Four-legged friends get achy muscles, too.
Treat your pet to any of the following services:
Massage
Like humans, pets "over-do-it," and can benefit greatly from a massage by our certified massage therapist. Massage has been proven to:
- Increase oxygenation to muscles and tissues
- Increase muscle elasticity
- Increase range of motion, flexibility and stride length
- Reduce recovery time after exertion
- Release contracted muscle, stress and tension
- Improve overall wellness
Hydrotherapy
A related therapy, hydro massage, involves a gentle massage with warm water. This therapy is done in a tub, using a special tool that directs soothing water pressure to sore, achy muscles and joints.
Come on in. The water's fine!
It's not easy (or practical) to take your dog for a swim, but we can take your dog on a swimming trip to a local lake. Not only is this fun for your dog, it s a wonderful form of low-impact exercise - ideal for pets that are older, recovering from injury or have weight problems.
We also have wading pools in all exercise yards and will be getting larger pools soon!
Aroma therapy
It might be hard to believe pets can benefit from aroma therapy, but this therapy is not just about scenting the air. Although the scents do impact your pet's mood and have soothing benefits, the essential oils used in aroma therapy also:
- Disinfect the air
- Aid in respiration
- Serve as a safe and natural decongestant and expectorant
- Alleviate certain skin problems
- Repel fleas ad ticks
- Ease the discomfort of rheumatism and arthritis
- Boost energy
Our trained therapist uses only Young Living Essential Oils to guarantee your pet will leave feeling great and smelling even better!
